My roots in holistic health run deep. Born and raised in Germany until age 14, I was brought up on homeopathy, home-grown vegetables, and whole foods. My mother instilled in us the power of natural remedies over antibiotics, while my grandmother shared a connection to Ayurvedic principles that still inspire my clinical work today.

Years later, however, I faced a health crisis conventional medicine couldn't explain. At age 24, while stepping into a demanding Charge RN role and working high-acuity ICU shifts that flipped between day and night, my nervous system reached a breaking point. I was struck by debilitating vertigo, chronic fatigue, and persistent headaches. Despite consultations with top hospital specialists, normal CT scans, and endless bloodwork, doctors offered no answers - only telling me everything looked "normal."

Refusing to accept that normal labs equaled health, I spent years searching for the true root cause. That journey revealed what traditional care overlooks: the profound connection between the gut, nervous system, liver, and adrenals - and how chronic viral loads like Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and underlying pathogens act as hidden drivers behind chronic illness.

When I discovered functional medicine, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), and targeted pathogen clearance, my health transformed. By supporting my detox pathways, regulating my nervous system, and shifting my lifestyle, I reclaimed my energy and healed my body. I realized firsthand that true recovery requires addressing both physical pathogens and stored somatic stress.

That experience inspired me to transition out of primary care and build The Wholistic NP - where I blend evidence-based functional medicine with intuitive somatic care. Out of my own healing journey, I created two proprietary frameworks: The Aligned Method™ and The VEIL Protocol™ (Virus Elimination & Immune Liberation).
